Rant: The Usual

Overall mood rating: 7.0 out of 10.
Weather: It's raining right now, and we may have a thunder storm. That's not a bad thing, maybe she'll rain herself out before the weekend's big trip.

So I have Friday of this week off for our 6th annual quad trip. This year we are camping on the beach at Terra Nova Lake. We've done that once before, and it was my favorite trip, so hopefully it'll be comparible this year.

After the trip, I 'begin' my holidays. I have next week off and Nicole and I have decided to get into our vehicle and just drive. No idea where. We'll have tenting gear in case we decide to stay in a park somewhere, but it could just as easily be a hotel. I can't wait to be somewhere I've never been before, and be sitting around with nothing to do. I feel like I'm on my way towards burn out, so I welcome the inner peace that comes from being bored.
