Rant - The Usual

Hrm .. stare at the word 'usual' for a while, until you start noticing smaller sets of letters within the word ... it starts to seem really weird after about 15 seconds. Damn, so does the word weird. Yeah, moving right along.

Weather: 3 degrees celcius and raining. Unusual for this time of year (don't stare at unusual). All our snow is melting and there are more quads roaming the trails than skidoos.

Music: I'm listening to a considerable amount of Coldplay lately, mostly old stuff. I haven't seen anything new pop on the scene that interested me. Then again, I haven't looked all that closely, probably because I'm quite pleased with C-old-play.

Work: Pleh.

Home: Good times! Nicole and I just bought a 20 gallon aquarium! Tomorrow we'll grab some colored stones for the bottom (the dude with the patent for painted rocks is laughing his ass of somewhere), some plants made with well processed petroleum by-products (read: cheap plastic), a highly inspiring background picture (or rather, the cheesiest excuse for a sea scene since the first season of sponge bob), and some high energy fish! Although I'm coming across as negative and sarcastic, I'm actually quite excited. The whole setup is going into our downstairs office, as I find the pump+water sound quite relaxing, and watching the fish grounding+inspiring.

Zievo: I made a new years resolution to work on this quite a bit more. The project management world is really lacking a solid piece of software, and the crud I've built to date is already better than most of whats out there.
